She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar David Polk and Jennie Lachick; and her husband Billy Fisher. She is survived by: her sons, Sean Nelson Polk (Kim), James Paul Fisher (Heather), Billy Joel Fisher (Kim) and Shane David Polk (Veronica); her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Jonathan, Samantha, Sophia, James, Marissa, Caelan, Austin, Christian, Zachery, Zoie and Brendan; her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Bella, Ben, Carter and Nolan; her sister Colleen McTeague; and her nephew Craig McTeague.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
