It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy McCoy of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles; her husband Mike McCoy; and her grandson Joshua Matlock. She is survived by: her sons, Regan Matlock (Abbie) and Craig Matlock (Diane); her brothers, Jimmy Romans (Sandy), Edward Romans (Brenda) and Wesley Romans (Eva); her grandchildren, Jolanda Matlock, Corey Matlock (Tosha), Zack Matlock (Kayla), Faith Matlock and Amarciah Matlock; and her great grandchildren, Connor Matlock, Hadlee Matlock, Blakely Matlock and Case Matlock.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt Moriah Cemetery.
