It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Louis Thompson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Thompson and Gertrude Gray Thompson; his siblings, Thomas Thompson, Russell Thompson, Louise Gist and Peggy Clemmons; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Thompson.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Jane Narmore Thompson; his children, Larry Thompson, Benny Thompson and Kathy McAnally (Brett); his siblings, Jim Thompson, Donald Thompson (June), Sue Darby (Bobby) and Faith Dodd (Paul); his grandchildren, Jamie Puckett, Allie Thompson, Michael Riley and Tim McAnally; and his great grandchild Dylan Puckett.
