He is survived by: his wife Gail Gibbs Gardner of Myrtlewood, AL; his daughters, Alana Gardner Champion (Chad) of Cottondale, AL and Stephanie Gardner Cox (Blake) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his mother Fikes Gardner of Myrtlewood, AL; his sister Peggy Gardner Scott (Richard) of Linden, AL; and his granddaughters, Emma Kate Champion, Ansley Ruth Champion and Blakely Sue Cox.
