As Janie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Slater and Eleanor Walker Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Billy Jones; her children, Randall Jones, Derek Jones, Jane Abel, Joyce Silar and Patricia Cramer; and her sisters, Nell Dunnaway and Dianne Waldrop. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
