She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Wade and Mary Christine Wade; her children, Sherian Newton (Don), June James (Robby), Sue Smith (Tommy), Matt Mathers (Sharon) and Joey Mathers (Darlene); her sister Alma Jo Wood; her half-brother Charles Richard Wade; her husband Matt Mathers, Sr.; and her daughter Brenda M Brantley. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
