She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert Westbrook "Buck" Compton, Jr.; her children, Albert Westbrook "Al" Compton, III, Cindy Compton Taylor (Wes) and Jan Compton Holley (Wood); her grandchildren, Molly Crawford Griffin (Adam), Thomas Alexander Crawford (Maryann), Catherine Compton Holley, Wesley Coleman Taylor and Margaret Compton Taylor; her great grandchildren, Adam Vincent Griffin, Jr., Crawford Westbrook Griffin, Evelyn Kate Price and Henry Thomas "Buck" Crawford; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Compton Harrington, Rosmund Compton and Caroline Brock Bugg; and her parents, Robert Watkins Bugg and Nell Adcock Bugg. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
