She was predeceased by : her husband Michael Hicks; her parents, MGySgt and Wilma Thompson; and her sisters, Candy Thompson, Donna Ripp, Tammy Davis and Sharon Bundy.

She is survived by : her daughter Crystal Hodgens (Don Combest); and her brother David Thompson. She is also survived by one grandson, and extended family.
