William Franklin Hanes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Franklin Hanes of New Market, Alabama, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. N. "Bill" Hanes and Arnilla Cook Hanes; his siblings, John Hanes and Cheryl Hanes Kanzenbach; and his nephew Jarod Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitchell Hanes; his daughters, Pamela Moore (Danny) and Kimberly Stell (Brad); his siblings, Ronnie Hanes (Adele) and Teresa Golden (Joe); and his siblings' children, Billy Hanes (Jennifer), Ben Hanes, Scott Hanes (Tammy), Kris Hanes (Beth), Blake Golden (Casey) and Whitney Carroll (Caleb).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
