She was predeceased by : her parents, Perry Phillip McKnight and Wanda Doris Byrd McKnight; her husbands, Clifton Bradley Smith and Lindwood Earl Russell; and her daughter Deanna June Smith Russell.

She is survived by : her daughter Judith Howard (Doug); her siblings, Judy Osborne, Phillip McKnight (Linda) of Newton and Milton McKnight (Kay) of Newton; her grandchildren, Kimmie Howard and Justin Howard (Candace); and her great grandchildren, Tucker, Tegan and Bentley.
