She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Newton; her daughter Natasha Stinnett; her parents, Emma Lois Mitchell and James Earl Mitchell; and her brother Tubby Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son Robert Christopher Newton (LeeAnn); her grandchildren, Ansel Stinnett and Erica Walsh; her siblings, Florence Martin, Tony Mitchell (Carolyn) and Tim Mitchell; and her daughter Tasha.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crestline Baptist Church (13949 Alabama Hwy 69 S, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family would also like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bonnie's honor to Garrett's Place 112 20th Street N Bessemer, AL 35020.
