He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Jean Pinion. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Rushing (Larry); his stepdaughter Susie Biggs (Joe); his son Jerry Pinion (Jennifer); and his stepson Bobby Wyatt (Kathy). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
