With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Lee Ellis of Northport, Alabama, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie A. Ellis; and her sister Mamie McKay. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Allbright, Danny Ellis (Connie), Bob Ellis (Marcia) and Andy Ellis (Lydia). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

“I grew up next door to her. I played with her children. I fixed her hair ever Saturday. She was a lovely person. After we moved from Cottondale I lost contact with her. My friend ( her nice Becki) told me a few months ago she was still alive. That was Amazing. I'm sorry to hear of her passing but know she's kicking in Heaven. My Sympathy for the Family.
