She was predeceased by : her husband Roy Heath; her parents, Eunice Smith and Melvin Smith; and her siblings, Joe Mel Smith and Peggy Smith Wesley.

She is survived by : her daughter Angela Dempsey; her son-in-law Lane Dempsey; her grandchildren, Brian Dempsey and Allison Dempsey Fink; her great grandchildren, Whitney Fink, Dalton Fink and Patrick Fink; her sister-in-law Jean Smith; and also Lewie Duke of Virginia Upchurch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.
