It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellis Lynn McDill of Ohatchee, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McDill and Leona McDill; his brothers, Billy and Jake McDill; and his great grandchild Paisley Faye Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean McDill; his children, Sherry Simpson (David), Sandra Smith (Jeff), Norman McDill and Travis McDill; his grandchildren, Allison Williams (Dustin), Andrea McDill, Dixie McDill, Georgia McDill, Joshua McDill, Bethany McDill, Jamie Simpson, Shelby Finley (Dustin), Anna Austin (Ian) and Greg Smith; and his siblings, Dennie Young (Ed), Arlene Parton (Lynn), Donna Blew (Chuck) and Fred McDill (Faye). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
