It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Pentecost of Ohatchee, Alabama, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Pentecost and Nannie Lou Pentecost; his son Michael Pentecost; his siblings, Jimmy Pentecost and Carolyn Boozer; and his grandchildren, Jacob King and Katie Jennings.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Wood Pentecost; his children, Shaun Pentecost Eller (Mark), Tommy Pentecost (Angie), Kristi Pentecost Jennings (Tommy), Lynn Ponder Pivonka (Thomas), Terri King, Elizabeth Ponder Brockles (Austin) and Charles Ponder (Molly); his grandchildren, Emily Miller (Matt), Lee Pentecost Alan Pentecost (Morgan), Blake Jennings (Morgan), Anna Jennings, Kaylie Brasher Winslett (Blake), Joseph Brasher (Courtney Lewis), Ethan Hein, Ryan Tarwater Andrew Brockles, Riley Tarwater, Gray Ponder and Sara Ponder; and his great grandchild Mason Miller.
