She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Tolbert and Mary Greathouse; her son Mikey Short; and her grandson Kristofer Robinson. She is survived by: her spouse Eddie B Short; her children, Ronnie Short, Tony Short (Deborah), Joey Short (Linda), Allen Short (Debbie) and Mickey Short (Tonya); and her siblings, Betty Phillips (Chuck), Melvin Tolbert (Brenda) and Donnie Cooper (Bonnie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
