She was predeceased by: her father Fred Gerald Smith; and her son Robert Daniel Carter. She is survived by: her husband Robert Carter; her daughters, Kim Fraser, Robert Fraser, Danielle Reaves, Kristen Talbot, Jeremy Talbot, Jennifer Brazell, Jody Brazell, Kristy Schrimsher and Brandon Schrimsher; her mother Lorraine Smith; her sister Margaret Medders; her grandchildren, Logan Fraser, Kensley Talbot, Cameron Carter, Kelsey Carter, Riley Brazell, Carter Brazell, Luke Brazell, Sam Schrimsher and Hank Schrimsher; and also Tommy Medders.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in memory of Mrs. Carter to the American Cancer Society.
