She is survived by : her mother Willie Jean Malone of Cherokee, AL; her husband James Young of Opelika, AL; her children, Georgelle Peters (Acton) of Opelika, AL, James Young, Jr. of Opelika, AL and Brianna Young of Opelika, AL; her grandchildren, Nyeem Young, Zannyah Young and Tyanna Young; and her siblings, Linda Gudger of Phoenix, AZ, Rebecca "Renee" Malone of East Orange, NY and Anthony Dickens of Newark, NJ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
