She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis H. Barber and Blanche Rhodes Barber; and her son Wesley Shane Meeks. She is survived by: her husband Fernando Detmer; her sons, Marty Meeks (Kathy) and Aubrey Meeks (Sandy); and her siblings, Gladys Arunachalam (Ravi), Carol Dickerson, Toni Herd (William) and Curtis Allen Barber (Loretta). She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
