He is survived by: his wife Gina Brown Austin; his sons, Henry Ellis "Hank" Austin III (Karen) and John Gregory Austin (Angel); his stepsons, Patrick Howard (Betsy) and John Ross Howard; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Howard, Lauren Austin and Matthew Ellis Austin (Brandi); and his great grandchildren, Abbigail Austin, Ellie Murphy and Rebecca Murphy.
