He was predeceased by: his brother Anthony Lewis Abbett (Andy); and his grandparents, Clessie Cook, Vance Abbett, Emory Lewis Holley and Lousie Butler Holley.
He is survived by: his stepson Jackson Schwantes-Barreto; his niece Izabell Jean Abbett; his nephew Dominic Michael Hall; his sister-in-law Sandra Abbett; and his stepparents, Vance N. Grace Abbett (Nick) and Rita Holley Fox (Harvey). He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
