He is survived by : his son Donny Merrill; his daughter-in-law Beth; his grandchildren, Gary Merrill, Jr. and Misty Merrill; and his sisters, Sarah Spurlin (Richard) and Mary Ellen Norris (Clayton). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
