Vernon David Cowan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon David Cowan (Owens Cross Roads, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vernon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Cowan and Callie Cowan; and his siblings, Charlie, Bill, Wade, Roy Cowan, Mary and Lorene.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ryder (O'Neal Bee) and Mark Cowan (Shawn). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great- great grandchildren.
