He was predeceased by: his parents, Windell Baxter and Ruth Baxter (Currington); his siblings, Woodrow Baxter, Ruben Baxter, Lillie Baxter Smith, Willie Currington and Jerome Currington; and his parents-in-law, George and Laura Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Fatin Jesar; his children, Zubaedia, Sabirah, Qadree, Radeyah (Lester Eutsey) and Ammar Ibn Jesar II; his grandchildren, Nialah, Elijah, Jammar, Arman and Ocean; and his sisters, Gaynell Christian Almaruf (Thomas) and Theresa Currington Montford (Dwayne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
