She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Brogden and Ada Beasley Brogden; her husband Reverend Buford Fillingim; and her brothers, Robert Earl Brogden and Edward Franklin Brogden.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Harrison of Texas and Elaine Woods Baker of Georgia; and her children, Linda Sowell (William) of Clopton, Leonard Buford Fillingim (Sandra) of Clopton and Andy Jearld Fillingim (Sherry) of Wicksburg. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holman Funeral Home Chapel (995 S Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
