He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Shivers and Mary Etta Gates Shivers; his wife Ingeborg Shivers; and his siblings, Virgie Lee Kelly, Jessie Shiver, Julius Shiver, Allie Shiver, Clark Shivers, Carl Shivers, Roy Shivers and William T. Shivers.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Clark; his granddaughter Amanda Fox; his great grandchild Laurel Ann Fox of Enterprise; and his brother Joe Shivers (Martha). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
