She is survived by: her children, Calvin C. Beale (Nora), William Beale (WD) of Ozark, AL and Deborah Beale Benton; her grandchildren, Edwin Beale (Stacey), Renee Clayton (Al), Michael D. Benton and Michelle D. Benton; her great grandchildren, Carter Taylor of Atlanta, GA, Cameron Beale of Cary, NC, Brittani Martin (Joshua), Marsalis Carlos (Deborah) and Myles Carlos of Alexandria, VA; her great great grandchildren, Zuri, Marlee, London Martin and Zahra Carlos of Chesapeake, VA.; her sister Nancy McFarlin of Ozark, AL.; her aunt Gussie Jackson of Ozark, AL.; her nieces and nephews, Yolanda McFarlin, Renorda McFarlin, Bethel Terry, Daron Brew of Ozark, AL, Roy Thompson (Shari), Riverdale, Arthur Ray Bakari of Newark, NJ and Perry Bakari (Latonya) of Newark, NJ; her great-niece Victoria Smith of Ozark, AL; and her great-nephew Isaiah Terry of Ozark, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her civic duties include: A member of the Daffodil Garden Club, Dale County Democratic Conference, the Ozark-Dale County Genealogical & Historical Society, Ozark-Dale County Alzheimer's Support Group, and Friends of the Library.
