He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Violet Gentry Carnell and John Herman Carnell; and his siblings, Lou Proffer, James Carnell and Robert Carnell.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Jo McNabb; his son-in-law Francisco McNabb of Ozark; his grandsons, Joseph McNabb of Ozark and Taran McNabb of Southside, Alabama; his siblings, Connie Phillips, Herman Carnell, Jr. of Missouri and Dennis Carnell (Betty) of Missouri; and his sister-in-law Barbara Carnell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Logan Road Baptist Church, 3955 Will Logan Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
