He was predeceased by: his father Fisher B. Covin. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ray Covin; his daughters, Caroline Covin-Bess (Curtis) and Michelle Covin (Laurence Min); his granddaughters, Amelia Covin-Bess and Molly Covin-Bess; and his siblings, Miles Covin (Becky), Dr. Alan Covin (Liz), Darwin Covin (Teresa), Mary Jo Thompson (Jimmy) and Leigh Margaret Darby (Todd). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many adopted cats.
