Annie Massengale Clayton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2019, at the age of 96, Annie Massengale Clayton (Pelham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her friend Kathryn Spencer; her parents, Joseph Ludie and Mary Christenberry Massengale; her children, Janis Clayton Cordell and Fred Lee Clayton III; her grandchildren, Barkley Alanna Cordell Sury (Sean), David Alexander Cordell (Jessica) and Allen Dantzler Clayton; and her great grandchildren, Anna Josephine Sury and Charles Liam Cordell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 518 19th Street North, Birmingham, AL 35203 or to the Salvation Army.
