It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin V. Heinlen (Pelham, Alabama), born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Ermina Heinlen; his brothers, William and Ralph Heinlen; his sons, Randall Vance Heinlen and Robin Allen Heinlen; his siblings' children, Raymond Heinlen and Barbara Heinlen Beigley; and his great grandchild Jeremiah Walker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Frazier [Sam] and Connie Walker; and his grandchildren, Steven Frazier [Heather], David Frazier, Joseph Walker [JiYon], Shawn Walker, Shavon Walker Hendry [Tim] and Anthony Walker [Sheila]. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will be a private graveside service held at Southern Heritage funeral home in Pelham, Alabama followed by interment at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, [stjude.org] or St. Vincent's Birmingham Bruno Cancer Center.
