He was predeceased by : his father Noble Neal Delashaw. He is survived by : his wife Leigh Anchors Delashaw; his daughters, Lauren Taylor and Hannah Grace Delashaw; his mother Sue Burgess Delashaw; his brother Mark Delashaw (Susan); and his nephews, John (Sarah) and Alan Delashaw (Meghann).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Highlands United Methodists Church, or the Eye Patch Challenge through the website EyePatchChallenge.org.
