With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Kitakis Karagas (Pelham, Alabama), who passed away on March 30, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her former life partner John Alexander Karagas; her husband Bill Galanis; her siblings, Katherine Hadzigeorge and George Kitakis; her brother-in-law George Chiotakis; and her son Kerry Alexander Karagas.
She is survived by : her granddaughter Francine Ann Karagas; her children, Celeste Ann Underwood (Dan), Mark Allen Karagas, John Anthony Karagas (Leigh) and James Andrew Karagas (Laurie); her daughter-in-law Ginger Konomos Karagas; her stepsons, Tom and Michael Galanis; and her siblings, Jim Kovakas (Penny) and Irene Chiotakis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
