He is survived by: his wife Johnilea Gillespie (Liddell); his sons, Michael Gillespie (Denise) of Pelham, AL, Jack Gillespie, Jr. (Kelly) of Birmingham, AL and David Gillespie of Verbena, AL; his granddaughter Morgan Goodson (Reagan) of Birmingham, AL; and his sister-in-law Pat Gillespie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
