She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Jackson King and Corrie Murphy King; her husband Charles; and her sisters, Frances Royal of Atlanta, Mary Nelle McDowell of Cordele, GA, Echlyn Clark of Waco, TX and Dorothy Murden of Charleston, SC..
She is survived by : her sons, Charles Hinton (Colleen) of Greenville, SC and David Hinton (Iris) of Tuscaloosa; and her grandchildren, Mary Ann, Charles III, Dennis, Benjamin and Daniel. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Canterbury United Methodist Church, 350 Overbrook Road, Birmingham, AL, 35213 in honor of Lutrelle Hinton for the Christmas Village, which helps provide gifts for disadvantaged children.
