He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Paisley Kilgore and James Henry Kilgore (Jim); and his brother-in-law Jay Dees. He is survived by: his daughters, Becki Kilgore Stacks (Gene) of Columbiana, AL, Karen Kilgore Crantford (Mark Rhodes) of Houma, LA and Julie Kilgore Joyner (Rick) of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Shay Reed (Matt), Molly Gaydosh (Jacob), Ruthie Braun (Corey), Clayton Crantford (Alex), Mary Marchand (Lon), William Crantford (Kenni), AnnaJane Joyner (Forrest), Aaryn Joyner Cleeland (Kell), Amber Joyner, Ben Joyner and Sam Joyner; his sister-in-law Lori Dees; his nephews, Tom Dees (Cathy) and Scott Dees (Edie); and his caregiver Donna Laird. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, two step-granddaughters.
