He is survived by: his wife Carol Petty of Perdue Hill, AL; his stepson Arthur Sawyer of Peterman, AL; his daughter Destiney Latisha McQueen of Pensacola, FL; and his siblings, Terry Godwin of Wyoming and Sandy Petty of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
