He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Dewey Shepard and Annie Will Green Shepard; his siblings, Faye Morrison, Mary Matusevich and Donnell Shepard; his wife Betty Woodard Shepard; his children, Jeff Shepard (Terry) and Shannan Spurlin (Roy); his sister Margaret Campbell; and his grandchildren, Justin Long, Mary Beth Shepard, Haley Pennington, Chase Pennington, Jeremy Spurlin and Robin Smith. He was also cherished by several other nieces, nephews, extended family, and host of friends.
