Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Francis Sr. of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 5, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ralph Francis and Bittie Godfrey Francis; and his wife Dovie Lee Francis. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Francis of Columbus, GA; his stepdaughter Brenda Meadows (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL; his daughter-in-law Lisa Francis of Seale, AL; and his grandchildren, Brittany Townsend (Derek) of Smith Station, AL, Christopher Reed (Ashley) of Athens, GA, Bradford Francis of Columbus, GA and Michael Reed of Landrum, SC. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the funeral service and visitation.
