He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Timothy Thompson and Wilma Lee Schoolar; and his siblings, Donnie Thompson and Barbara Ann Hyde. He is survived by: his wife Joann Thompson; his children, Charles Thompson, Jr. (Lisa) and Belinda Thompson West (Roy); his grandchildren, Aaron Thompson, Dewey West, Abbey West, Jacob West and Brianna West; and his siblings, Janie Finkley, Juanita Bopp, Gail Wright, Rita Robinson, Tim Thompson, Tony Thompson and Ronnie Thompson.
