He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Grier, Sr. and Willie Bell Grier. He is survived by: his wife Sally Grier; his children, David Grier (Barbara), Charles Dade (Christie), Richard Marshall (Nakia), Tony Grier, Russell Marshall and Connie Ogletree; and his sisters, Thelma Cowell and JoeAnn Seals. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
