It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara M. Newman Grimes of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Bobby Moulton; and her brother Rev. Ray Newman. She is survived by: her husband Terry Laverte Grimes of Phenix City, AL; her stepchildren, Laura Grimes Newman and Steve Laverte Grimes; her brother Rev. Joe Newman of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Grant, Austin, Carson and Maggie; and her sibling's children, Cassidy Stecenko, Ashley Baker, Jay Moulton, Susan Newman and Sara Newman. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
