He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Myree Hearn and John Coleman Ezell; his siblings, Billy Hearn Ezell, Rodney C. Ezell, Martha Rogers Green and Beverly Gay Shelton; and his son-in-law James Douglas Harris of Midland, Georgia..
He is survived by: his wife Julia Gullatt Ezell (Judy); his children, Julia E. Harris, Jeffrey C. Ezell (Sheila), Ellen E. Harden (Alford) of Phenix City, Alabama and Daniel B. Ezell of Birmingham, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Dr. Russell Harris (Kathryn), Allison Harris, Aaron Johnson, Reed Harden, Brian Ezell, Stephanie Waller and Haviland Harden; and his great grandchildren, Breckyn Waller and Edith Harris.
