She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Sanders and Versia M. Carlisle Sanders; her sister Theresa Erwin; her nephew Mike Erwin; her great-niece Halie Gillooley; and her nephew-in-law Gary Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Terry McGowan of Fortson, GA and Jason Elrod (Claire) of Columbus, GA; her sister Sherry Fredrick (Ben) of Salem, AL; her grandchildren, Tyler Elrod of Columbus, GA, Walker Elrod of Columbus, GA and Martha DeBice (Phillip) of Columbus, GA; her great grandchildren, Blake and Katherine DeBice; her brother-in-law Bill Erwin of Fayetteville, AR; and her sibling's children, Debbie Bryant of Fayetteville, AR, Benji Fredrick (Terry) of Columbus, GA and Jim Erwin (Pam) of Fayetteville, AR. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, various cousins and extended family.
