He is survived by: his wife Joan Allred Helms of Phenix City, AL; his daughter Christy DeLucca (Derek); his siblings, Linda Sparks, Jimmy Helms (Gloria), Don Helms (Tiny) and George Helms (Emily); and his grandchildren, Thayer, Nelson and Noah DeLucca. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
