He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Griggs Thornton of Phenix City, AL; his daughters, Kimberly Carlisle (Michael) of Opelika, AL, Kristie Warren (John) of Seale, AL and Karol Anne Motos (Billy) of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, Vickie Thornton Land (Dickie) of Phenix City, AL and Keith Thornton of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Mikey Carlisle (Erika), Zachary Carlisle, Hannah Warren, Holten Warren and Kamden Motos; and his great grandchildren, Shelby Carlisle, Bryce Carlisle and Ruby Carlisle. He is also survived by several other extended family and friends.
