With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Pitts of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Ozark, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Pitts to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Andrews and Corene Judah Andrews; her husband Ben Walker Pitts; and her siblings, Elizabeth Stephens and Dexter Andrews.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Bayer (Gary) of Phenix City, AL; and her grandsons, Scott Bayer (Caitlin Taylor) of Richmond, VA and Carson Bayer (Nicholas Gillespie) of Dothan, AL. She is also survived by several other extended family and friends.
There will be no formal service due to the COVID 19 restrictions.
