He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Miracle and Ida Mae Houser Miracle; his wife Carolyn Wilkins Miracle; his children, Kathy Cooper and Denzil Miracle; and his brother Earl Miracle.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Rogers (Fred) of Hamilton, GA, Myra Atkinson (Leonard) of Lakeland, FL, Deborah Johnson of Phenix City, AL, Richard Allen, Jr. (Judy) of Columbus, GA and Richard Davis of Nashville, TN; and his siblings, Una Irene Martin of Clinton, MO, Charles Miracle (Barbara) of Jacksonville, NC and Everett Vern Miracle of London, KY. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends.
