She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thacker and Marilyn Bartley Thacker. She is survived by: her husband Rick O. Edmunds; her children, Thomas Baker (Gina) and Marlain Peterson; her stepdaughters, Kim Huckaby and Heather Sobkowiak (Brent); her siblings, Wanda Cantrell (Roy), Nancy Aslan, Edmond Deel (Fairley), Paul Thacker (Rhonda), Walter Thacker, Jimmy Thacker (Debbie) and Donnie Thacker (Sherri); and her grandchildren, Cory Baker, Remi Baker, Owen Sobkowiak, Sarah Sobkowiak, Courtney Huckaby, Caleb Huckaby and Cailey Huckaby. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Oasis Christian Center in Phenix City or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in memory of Mrs. Helen Thacker Crews-Edmunds.
